If only I had the time....

I'm not very good at this (as you can tell). I've been told you're supposed to write in these things regularly...like every day....if only I had the time!

I've been painting my flat while the girls are away. Almost finished. Well when I say almost finished, I mean I've got to the stage where stuff has just had to go back in the rooms (well it's a small place and I just can't move around the rest of the place when one room has to be empty), and now I'm pulling things away from one wall and peeling back the carpet, painting that bit, waiting for it to dry, putting it all back, readying the next bit...

Still the girls come home tomorrow from their trip to Yorkshire with 'Auntie & Uncle'. Their company will be nice for a change (I've hardly seen them this summer holidays, what with them being away for so long in Turkey with their Mom and pseudo/step family) and soon they'll be back at school.

Plans are afoot for a birthday day-out for Natalie as she is 10 at the weekend. I'll let you know how things go....

It had to start sometime

Well, after looking at the way this blogging thing has taken the world by storm, I have had to go and do it. Join in that is.

Here I am, for all the world to see (not much to see at present, I know).

Don't really know what to do now, but I'm sure it will come to me.
